Zoom button you might click when your dog barks

There was once a dog named Zoom who loved to bark. Whenever Zoom saw a squirrel outside or heard a noise, he would bark and bark and bark. His owner, Jane, found it quite annoying and wished she could silence Zoom’s barks.

One day, Jane was doing a crossword puzzle and came across a clue that read, “Zoom button you might click when your dog barks.” She couldn’t figure out the answer and was feeling frustrated. Suddenly, she heard Zoom barking loudly. She looked at him and thought of the clue again. Then it hit her.

“Mute!” she exclaimed. That’s the answer to the clue. She realized that just like how she would click the “Mute” button on her computer to silence Zoom’s barks, she could also use the word “Mute” as the answer to the crossword puzzle clue.

From that day on, whenever Zoom barked too much, Jane would think of the crossword clue and smile. She would then click the “Mute” button on her computer and enjoy some well-deserved peace and quiet.
