You might calmly tell someone not to do this

Once upon a time, there was a young boy named Charlie who loved playing with his toys. One day, he received a brand new soccer ball and he was super excited to play with it. He kicked the ball around his yard when suddenly, the ball soared over the fence and into his neighbor’s yard, which was guarded by a ferocious-looking dog.

Charlie’s heart sank as he knew his neighbor was a very strict and grumpy person who didn’t appreciate anyone entering his yard. However, he knew he had to get his ball back. As he cautiously made his way towards the fence, the grumpy neighbor appeared and started yelling at him. Charlie tried to explain but the neighbor wasn’t listening and continued to scold him.

Charlie could feel his heart racing as he worried about how he was going to get his ball back. Suddenly, he remembered something his mom had told him. “If you’re in a situation like this, take a deep breath and calmly tell the person not to worry. It shows that you are taking responsibility and are not a threat.

Charlie took a deep breath, looked his neighbor in the eye and said, “Please don’t worry. I will get my ball and leave your yard immediately.” To his surprise, the neighbor calmed down and even helped him retrieve the ball.

From that day on, Charlie learned that worrying only adds to the problem and that it’s important to stay calm and composed in difficult situations. He even remembered this lesson while doing one of his favorite activities, solving crossword puzzles!
