Once upon a time, there was a writer named Lucy who loved to use big words and lengthy sentences in her articles. One day, she was given the task to write a short news article about a major event happening in the city.

Lucy struggled to write a brief article because she was used to writing long and descriptive ones. As she was brainstorming ideas, she stumbled upon a crossword puzzle and came across the clue “Short“. Suddenly, she had an epiphany and realized that in order to write a concise article, she needed to be “TERSE“.
