Then I realized that the word ‘board‘ could also refer to a bulletin board or a notice board where announcements are made. This led me to think of words that could be used in this context, and the word ‘POST‘ immediately came to mind. It had the correct number of letters and fit perfectly in the crossword puzzle. Using logic and deduction, I had figured out that the answer to the crossword clue ‘Put on the board‘ was ‘POST‘, which was a great accomplishment as a detective.
