There was a group of friends who loved to solve crossword puzzles together every weekend. One day, they were stumped by a clue that read, “Potentially insulting, for short.” They scratched their heads and tried to come up with words that fit the description but nothing seemed to make sense.

That’s when their friend, Peter, who was a bit of a joker, chimed in and said, “Oh, I know this one. It’s UNPC!” Everyone looked at him with confused expressions. “What’s UNPC?” they asked. Peter replied with a smirk, “It stands for ‘unpolitically correct’ – you know, things that might insult people.

As soon as he said that, the answer clicked with everyone and they filled it in on the puzzle grid. They all laughed at Peter’s clever answer, but they also realized how true it was. Words and actions that may seem harmless to some can be potentially insulting to others.

From then on, whenever they saw the term “UNPC” in a crossword puzzle, they were reminded that it’s important to be mindful and considerate of others in their words and actions. They discovered that even a simple crossword puzzle can hold valuable lessons about how we interact with one another.
