Sam’s eyes widened in surprise and joy as he heard the word ‘stanza’ for the first time. From that day on, whenever he wrote poetry, he would envision each section as a beautiful stanza. And every time he filled out a crossword puzzle, he smiled fondly at the memory of how he learned the meaning of a word that would forever change the way he wrote poetry.
