“Not you, too?!”

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Lily who loved solving crossword puzzles. One day, she came across a clue that read “Not you, too?!” and struggled to figure out the answer. She thought and thought, but nothing seemed to fit.

Feeling <bfrustrated, she went to her grandma for help. Her grandma chuckled and said, “Oh, that’s an easy one. It’s ‘ETTU’.”

Lily was confused. “How does ‘ETTU’ fit the clue?” she asked.

“Well, think of it this way,” her grandma explained. “Imagine you and your best friend both getting grounded for the same reason. You would say, ‘Not you, too?!‘ in disbelief. That’s where ‘ETTU’ comes in. It stands for ‘Even Tutti Understood’ – meaning even everybody knows or agrees on the same thing happening.”

Lily’s eyes lit up. Suddenly, the crossword clue made perfect sense. She filled in the answer and went on to complete the entire puzzle with her grandma’s help. From that day on, Lily always remembered ‘ETTU’ as the answer to the clue “Not you, too?!” and laughed every time she filled it into a puzzle.
