Once upon a time, in a kingdom far, far away, there was a very controversial decision that needed to be made. The king called upon all of his advisors to consult and vote on it. Each advisor placed a piece of paper with their vote into a box in front of the king. As the votes were being counted, the king noticed that one of the papers in the box had the word “Nay” written on it instead of a yes or no vote. Confused, he asked his advisors what this meant.
