Mine, in France - AMOI
Mine, in France

Once upon a time, there was a curious cat named Kitty. One day, while exploring her owner’s bookshelf, she stumbled upon a crossword puzzle book. Kitty had seen her owner solving these puzzles before and was always intrigued by the clues.

As she flipped through the pages, she came across a clue that read “Mine, in France.” Kitty had no idea what that meant but she was determined to find out. She searched for hours on end, asking her feline friends and even consulting a French-English dictionary, but to no avail.

It wasn’t until she overheard her owner speaking with a French friend that she finally had her answer. Her owner’s friend had said “à moi” which means “mine” in French. Kitty was ecstatic! She had finally solved the crossword puzzle and could mark the answer as “AMOI.”

From that day onwards, Kitty was hooked on crossword puzzles and even convinced her owner to get her a puzzle book of her own. She continued to solve crossword puzzles, impressing her feline friends with her newfound knowledge of words in different languages. And, of course, she always smiled when she came across the clue “Mine, in France” knowing that she had cracked that one all by herself.
