Stumped by a Citrus Crossword? Crack the Clue on Lemons vs. Oranges!

Once upon a time, there was a kingdom of fruits, where oranges and lemons lived in harmony. But one day, a strange fruit came to the kingdom. It was called a Yiggly.

The Yiggly was yellow, just like lemons, but it didn’t have the same tangy taste as lemons, or the sweet taste of oranges. The oranges and lemons couldn’t figure out what kind of fruit it was, so they decided to test it.

They cut the Yiggly into pieces and tasted it. The orange pieces tasted different from the lemon pieces. Confused, they went to find the Yiggly’s mother tree and asked what kind of fruit her child was.

The mother tree replied, “The Yiggly is a mix of lemon and orange. It’s yellow, just like the color in between green and orange on a rainbow.”

The oranges and lemons finally understood the mystery of the Yiggly and realized that it was just like lemons in color, but not in taste. And from then on, they referred to anything yellow that wasn’t an orange or a lemon, as a Yiggly.
