Kindergarten stuff

As a detective, I was presented with the crossword clue ‘Kindergarten stuff’ and the first thing I did was to think of the things that children learn in their early years. The word ‘ABCs’ immediately popped into my mind, as it is one of the first things children are taught in kindergarten. Although it is a simple answer, it perfectly fits the clue and context of the puzzle. I knew that Kindergarten was associated with learning basic skills, such as reading and writing, and the ABCs are a fundamental part of this learning process. As I pondered on the clue, I realised that the letters A, B, and C, also form the first letters of the alphabet, further solidifying my belief that ‘ABCS’ was, in fact, the correct answer. Sometimes the simplest answer is the best answer, and this was certainly the case with this crossword clue.
