The Mind-Boggling Coat Puzzle: Can You Solve It?

One chilly autumn morning, Sally decided to give her house a fresh coat of paint. She went to the hardware store and picked out the perfect shade of green. However, when she got home, she realized that she forgot to buy a paintbrush – one of the most important tools!

Not wanting to go all the way back to the store, Sally remembered an old trick from her art school days: “finger painting.” She donned her oldest clothes and set to work, using only her fingers to spread the paint.

As she worked her way across the wall, Sally realized that painting with her fingers took much longer than using a brush. The paint was thick and sticky, and it took awhile to spread evenly. But she was determined to finish the job and make her home look beautiful.

And so, as Sally stood there in her drippy coat of green paint, she couldn’t help but think: “Paint is just like a coat – it may take awhile to put on, but the end result is worth it.”
