Chief justice before Hughes

Once upon a time, in the land of the Supreme Court, there lived a group of justices. They were all wise and just, but one among them stood out. His name was Taft, and he was the Chief Justice. He had a stern but fair demeanor, and all the other justices looked up to him.

However, one day, a new justice joined the court. His name was Hughes, and he came with a reputation for being wise and fair, just like Taft. The other justices were curious to see how Hughes and Taft would get along.
