Gaggles

Once upon a time, there was a small village situated beside a beautiful river. The village had a tradition to gather in large groups for special occasions like weddings, religious festivals and community meetings. One day, the village chief decided to test the villagers’ memory by creating a crossword puzzle in which one of the clues was “Gaggles“.

The villagers pondered and puzzled over the clue. They considered all sorts of possible answers but none fit. Finally, an old farmer spoke up and said, “I know the answer to that clue, it’s ‘crowds'”. The villagers were amazed and asked the farmer how he knew this.

The farmer replied, “Well, every time my geese gather in large groups, they call it a ‘gaggle’ of geese. And similarly, whenever people come together in large numbers, we call it a ‘crowd’.”

With that, the villagers understood the connection between the crossword clue ‘Gaggles‘ and its answer ‘CROWDS‘. And they all marveled at the power of the human mind to make connections and solve problems.
